Our commitment in establishing this site is to acquaint the residents of Ventura County with an Agency that we believe is one of the finest Probation agencies in the nation. Our mission is to protect and serve the citizens of Ventura County, and to provide services that will enhance the community. We are at the forefront in providing innovative programs that are designed to deal with a variety of offenders from high risk and gang involved offenders to early intervention services for youth at risk.
The Ventura County Probation Agency employs 441 people, including 344 sworn officers. The Agency has an annual budget of nearly 52 million dollars. Our Agency often works in partnership with both federal and local agencies in enforcing justice and protecting the citizens of Ventura County.
