(VCPA) for a career in corrections. VCPA has over 344 full-time peace
officers employed at this time, as well as 97 non-sworn personnel. VCPA
actively recruits qualified professional peace officer staff who desire
a rewarding and challenging career. There are recurring opportunities
for employment for the sworn positions of Deputy Probation Officer and
Corrections Services Officer. Additionally, VCPA hires a variety of non-sworn
personnel to assist in the support function of the Agency.
